Ohio Flame Liberty Fire Pit with Circular Base – Made in USA Steel

Some fire pit placements have an obvious front, but plenty of gathering spaces call for a fire feature that looks equally good from any direction guests approach it from. The Circular Base configuration gives the Liberty's bold bowl a fully symmetrical, round pedestal underneath, with no single "correct" viewing angle. For hosts arranging seating in a full circle around the fire, it's the base style built to match. The Liberty Fire Pit — Full 360-Degree Symmetry for Central Placement Not every fire pit needs a defined front and back, and the Circular Base Liberty is built specifically for setups where that distinction doesn't apply. Its fully round pedestal mirrors the symmetry of the bowl above it, creating one continuous circular form with no seams or facets to orient toward a single direction. It's crafted from the same thick carbon American steel as the rest of the Liberty line, by a local artisan, so the fully symmetrical design doesn't come at the expense of durability. A Circular Base Built to Look Right from Every Angle Where the Angled Base commits to sharp facets and the Curved Base introduces contrast between bowl and base, the Circular Base keeps everything uniform and round from top to bottom. That means there's no "best side" to position toward a patio door or a specific seating cluster. For hosts placing the fire pit as a true centerpiece rather than a backdrop, that consistency removes a placement decision entirely. The Same Lifetime Warranty and Rain Drain System Hosts Trust The Circular Base doesn't trade away any of the durability the Liberty line is known for. This configuration still includes the built-in Rain Drain for water drainage and ships with the 4" Round Blocking Plate and Standard Length Centering Tee to close it off if preferred. It's backed by Ohio Flame's Lifetime Warranty, the same guarantee that covers every base style in the collection. Hosts get full placement flexibility without giving up any of the long-term reliability. Why the Circular Base Fits Surround-Seating STR Gathering Areas Outdoor spaces built around a central fire feature — with seating arranged in a full circle rather than clustered on one side — need a fire pit that reads well no matter where a guest is sitting. The Circular Base Liberty is designed for exactly that layout, since there's no angled or faceted side that looks better or worse depending on the viewer's position. For hosts designing a true gathering-circle setup, it removes the guesswork of orienting the fire pit toward any one seat. The Natural Choice for Round, Conversation-Circle Seating Layouts Adirondack chairs, built-in stone benches, or a full ring of outdoor furniture around a fire pit all benefit from a base that looks consistent from every seat in the circle. The Circular Base Liberty was built with that exact layout in mind, so no matter which direction a guest is facing the fire from, the design reads the same. It's a small detail that removes friction from how the space gets arranged in the first place. Five Sizes to Fit Everything from an Intimate Circle to a Full Group Layout The Circular Base Liberty comes in five sizes, from a 24" diameter suited to a small, intimate seating circle up to a 48" diameter built for a larger group gathering layout. Each size keeps the same full symmetry, so the fire pit works as a centerpiece regardless of how many seats surround it. That range lets hosts scale the setup to the property without losing the all-angles design intent. For STR Hosts: A Fire Feature Built for the Center of the Conversation Hosts designing a dedicated fire pit gathering area — rather than a fire feature tucked against one side of a patio — need a design that holds up to being viewed from every direction guests sit in. The Circular Base Liberty is purpose-built for that kind of central placement, giving every seat in the circle the same view of a considered, symmetrical design. That versatility makes it a strong fit for properties built around communal outdoor gathering spaces.
