Perfectly blended colors give this Ohio Amish Broken Dishes quilt a wonderful kaleidoscopic effect. The brown outer border as well as the purple of the inner border and binding are incorporated in the interior pattern for a nice continuation. The outer border is quilted with concentric chevrons. The quilt is all cotton; made circa 1920. Measurements are 72" x 87". Holmes County, Ohio origin.
