Offshore Strike Kit — 5 Trolling Lures

Five lures. A complete offshore spread, out of one bag. A daisy chain teaser, three hooked rigs and a chugger — enough to cover mahi, tuna and wahoo across a whole day without a tackle change. Hand-rigged in Fort Lauderdale. Tackle only, no apparel. What's in the Offshore Strike Kit Tuna Flyer — blue/pearl 3-lure daisy chain teaser, runs ahead of the spread to raise fish Tuna Striker — squid-skirted trolling lure, our best-selling tuna rig Ghost Striker — ghost-white translucent squid with pink and silver flash fibre, hooked Phantom Striker — Mahi Pink Phantom 3-hook daisy chain in hot pink and deep purple Mahi Chugger — rigged Super Chugger, big head, long bubble trail This is a spread, not a sampler Offshore you rarely get to fish for one species. You leave the inlet for mahi, find a rip holding tuna, and come home over wahoo ground. Five lures is what it takes to cover that day properly: a teaser out front to raise fish, three hooked rigs across the colour range so whatever comes up has something to eat, and a chugger for when it is slick and nothing is showing. The Phantom Striker is worth understanding. It is a daisy chain, so it raises fish the way a teaser does — three squid running together look like a fleeing baitball. But unlike a true teaser, every squid carries a hook. It pulls fish up and then lets them eat, which is why it earns a rigger position rather than a free ride.
