Help Great Leap bring baseball back to Manzanar! The Manzanar Baseball Project is a compelling sport-meets-art initiative produced by Great Leap, an arts organization rooted in the Asian American community that promotes cross-cultural exchange with local and nationwide audiences and communities. Great Leap Associate Artistic Director, Dan Kwong, has spearheaded the project to preserve the legacy of baseball in Manzanar, one of the ten major concentration camps where Japanese Americans were incarcerated during WWII. Proceeds from the sales of this cap help support the 2026 Grand Opening Doubleheader this Fall (as well as supporting JANM’s mission!) This cap was made in partnership with Japangeles. The typography was designed by Mike Boulia. Adjustable "snap-back" style (not suitable for kid-sized heads!) is made of 80% acrylic, 20% wool.
