Ocusoft Hand Soap

About OCuSOFT Hand Soap Popular among contact lens users Moisturizer-free Choose from 3 sizes - 8oz with pump; 32oz refill; 1oz travel Description (by Rebecca) This is a super-popular soap for use with scleral lenses as it has no moisturizers. One of OCuSOFT's best products, in my opinion. Why does the type of soap matter for scleral lens users? (Well, really, all contact lens users, but we scleral lens users are particularly susceptible to issues from soap residue on our lenses.) Because so many liquid hand soaps these days contain moisturizers, and any oils on your hands when you're handling your lenses will inevitably get onto the lenses, attracting debris and interfering with good vision.  Description (from the manufacturer's literature) OCUSOFT HAND SOAP is designed specifically for contact lens wearers to throughly cleanse hands prior to lens handling or insertion. Reduces potential for contamination to lenses and eyes.  Chloroxylenol is the antimicrobial agent in OCuSOFT Hand Soap which is responsible for killing germs. OCuSOFT Hand Soap does not contain oils or other lubricants which may leave a film on the hands and be transferred to the contact lens. Reduces potential for clouded lenses. Ingredients Water, PEG 80 Sorbitan Laurate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Sodium Chloride, Disodium Cocoamphodiacetate, PEG 150 Distearate, Sodium Laureth-13 Carboxylate, Lauramine Oxide
