Octopus Moves (I Like to Read)

Octopus wants to move, but needs friends to help! Swim along with the ocean’s cutest creatures in this sweet early reader for preschool-aged children. Octopus wants to move. Shrimp helps. Crab helps. Seahorse helps. Bob Barner has created a whimsical world where it’s always okay to ask for help, and no task is too big with your friends swimming by your side. Parents will appreciate the emphasis on teamwork, cooperation, and community, while bright colors and expressive characters will make developing readers feel right at home. The award-winning I Like to Read® series focuses on guided reading levels A through G, based upon Fountas and Pinnell standards. Acclaimed author-illustrators—including winners of Caldecott, Theodor Seuss Geisel, and Coretta Scott King honors—create original, high quality illustrations that support comprehension of simple text and are fun for kids to read with parents, teachers, or on their own!
