Finest pigments are used for the inking. This gives you a strong typeface. The document inks differ from the Octopus Write and Draw Inks in that they contain less binder. Nevertheless, even with these inks, drying in the fountain pen should be avoided and the pen should be cleaned thoroughly before prolonged non-use.   Brand Octopus Ink Name Document Grey Country of Origin Germany Color Grey Dry Time 30 seconds in a Pilot VP medium nib on Rhodia Flow Slightly wet Shading Low Sheen No Shimmer No Limited Edition No Water Resistance High Iron Gall No Pigmented Yes
