October Magic Bride Camellia (Sasanqua)

While other plants are just beginning to lose their leaves, the October Magic® Bride™ Camellia from the Southern Living Plant Collection is hitting her stride as she brings in magnificently beautiful autumn and winter color. The Bride blooms petite double flowers that are as purely white as the name suggests and that contrast stunningly with its dark green leaves. This evergreen has a dense upright, column-like growth habit which makes for easy maintenance and a uniform look. Camellias perform best in well-drained, slightly acidic soil, and be sure to apply a slow-release balanced fertilizer in early spring for optimal plant health. Tips for Camellia Planting Success
