Octopus Cleaner XP-8000

The Reef Octopus Octopus Cleaner XP-8000 is the largest automated neck cleaner (ANC) in the lineup, built for the SRO-9000EXT commercial-class skimmer. Twin squeegees on a high-torque, low-RPM motor keep the neck clear of the buildup that restricts skimmate collection — essential upkeep on a unit processing this much water volume. Fits: SRO-9000EXT Light Commercial Protein Skimmer Setup: plug into a timer or aquarium controller (not included), set to run a few minutes 4-6 times per day Result: eliminates manual neck-scrubbing for two or more weeks while maintaining fresh-cup skimmate output Important: not ozone safe On a commercial-scale skimmer, manually scrubbing the neck is a genuinely large chore — automating it is close to essential rather than a convenience upgrade at this size. Compatible with: SRO-9000EXT Light Commercial Protein Skimmer.
