Octopus Cleaner 110

The Reef Octopus Octopus Cleaner 110 is an automated neck cleaner (ANC) that keeps your skimmer's neck free of the biofilm buildup that makes foam stick to the walls and restricts skimmate collection. Twin squeegees driven by a high-torque, low-RPM motor wipe the neck clean on a schedule you set. Fits: Reef Octopus skimmers with a 110-size neck Setup: plug into a timer or aquarium controller (not included), set to run a few minutes 4-6 times per day Result: eliminates manual neck-scrubbing for two or more weeks while maintaining fresh-cup skimmate output Important: not ozone safe Neck buildup is one of the most common, least obvious reasons skimmate output quietly declines over a week or two — this automates the fix so you don't have to remember to do it. Compatible with: Reef Octopus skimmers with a 110 neck.
