Reef Octopus Universal CO2 Scrubber

The Reef Octopus Universal CO2 Scrubber is a standalone acrylic canister that connects to any skimmer's air intake via barbed tubing, rather than requiring a specific lid adapter like the C2C series. It scrubs incoming air of CO2 before it reaches the skimmer, helping stabilize pH closer to the ideal 8.3 range for coral growth. Best for: hobbyists wanting CO2 scrubbing on a skimmer without a compatible C2C lid available Construction: durable acrylic body, hermetically sealed to preserve scrubbing media potency Controls: dual valve control for airflow adjustment Connection: universal barbed intake fitting, compact footprint for easy placement Being "universal" rather than lid-specific means this scrubber works with skimmers outside the Reef Octopus C2C lid compatibility list — useful if you're running a different brand's skimmer alongside Reef Octopus equipment. Compatible with: any protein skimmer air intake (universal barbed connection).
