BioChurn 90ext HOB Reactor

The Reef Octopus BioChurn 90ext HOB Reactor is the dedicated hang-on-back version of the BioChurn line, using the same patent-pending churn plate to keep biopellet media gently suspended in a cyclone motion rather than blasting it with direct pump flow. It's built for aquarists who don't have sump space to dedicate to a reactor. Best for: hobbyists without sump access who still want gentle churn-motion biopellet fluidization Setup: hang-on-back, external mount, integrated Aquatrance pump feeds and disperses media Design: cascading chamber for greater bacterial surface area, churn-plate fluidization for extended media contact time Because it hangs externally, the 90ext is a common fit for all-in-one tanks and rimmed aquariums that were never plumbed with a sump. Compatible replacement parts: Aquatrance pump kits and churn plates for the BioChurn 90 series.
