Ocean Waves No. 2

Ocean art print of a triangular green wave and sun glitter on a summer morning.  I photographed this image on a beautiful morning at Good Harbor Beach on Cape Ann, MA, with soft sunshine filtered through high, wispy clouds. There is a small uninhabited island at the end of the beach, with a short sandbar that leads out to it. The sandbar is underwater most of the time, but at very low tide, it appears, and you can walk out to the island. As the tide comes in, waves approach the sandbar from both sides and meet right over it. On stormy days, those waves crash into each other, and it’s exhilarating to watch. But on this morning, there was barely any wind and the ocean was calm. The waves slowly rolled in, met up, and turned into these beautiful triangular peaks before breaking. So cool! PRINT DETAILS The image is printed on matte archival cotton rag fine art paper with a 0.5” - 2” white border (depending on image size) and is signed on the border below the image. Print sizes refer to the total paper size, including the border (e.g. a 10x15-inch print has a 9x14-inch image with 0.5-inch borders). The prints are available unframed or framed, and every order is professionally custom printed. FRAMED PRINTS - USA & AUSTRALIA ONLY Framed prints come in a black, white, or natural wood frame with or without a white mat. The frames are handmade in the US from top-quality hardwoods and all archival materials. They are custom made to order, with beautiful spline joints and 99% UV-filtering acrylic glass. Depending on print size, the frames have a 1/2" - 1" face and 1 1/2" - 2 1/4" depth. Smaller frames are fitted with D-rings and a wire for hanging; large frames (24x36 inches and up) have a French cleat hanging system. The frames at my lab in Australia are a little bit different from the US frames - please contact me if you would like more information.
