Ocean Hood Strut Kit

Hood Strut Kit for Fisker Ocean  Upgrade your Fisker Ocean with our innovative Hood Strut Kit, designed to prevent hood damage while enhancing functionality and peace of mind. The factory hood catch design places all the hood's weight on a single corner, increasing risk of damage when the hood is closed improperly or simply sneezing on it. This kit eliminates damage risk by disabling the hood catch and provides balanced support holding the hood up evenly from both sides. Key Features: Comprehensive Kit: Includes custom mounting brackets, all necessary hardware, two gas hood struts and a hood catch disabler. No Permanent Modifications Needed: Installs easily in just 15 minutes with basic tools—no drilling, cutting, or permanent changes required. Simply uninstall in minutes (but why would you) if you desire a hood that is more susceptible to damage.  Precision Engineering: Mounting brackets are CAD-designed for a perfect fit and long-lasting durability.  Peace of Mind: Lifetime replacement guarantee on mounting brackets and free gas hood strut replacement for the first 12 months after purchase. Does this replace my hood bolts? No. You will still need to remove the front trim and bolts to access under the hood. This kit holds your hood up independent of the hood catch located on the left side hood hinge.  Given the lack of supply for replacement parts, this is an essential upgrade for all Fisker Ocean owners.  *Images modified to protect proprietary design of mounting brackets
