OBD, DIAGNOSTICS CABLE, RP1210

Jaltest JDC223.9 -- OBD Diagnostics Cable RP1210 (V9) The JDC223.9 is not your typical OBD-II cable. This is the RP1210-compliant OBD adapter required when you're running OEM software through your Jaltest V9 link -- specifically when you need to perform Central Service actions such as Cummins ECM programming. Standard Jaltest cables handle Jaltest software just fine, but when the job calls for OEM factory software to talk through the same hardware, this is the cable that makes it work. At 59 inches, it has enough length to reach the OBD port comfortably from a laptop on the hood or a cart beside the vehicle. Key Specifications Part Number: JDC223.9 Link Version: V9 Cable Length: 59 inches (approximately 5 feet) Connector: OBD-II (16-pin) Protocol Support: RP1210-compliant MSRP: $85.00 Who Needs This Cable Any shop using Jaltest in combination with OEM software -- particularly for Cummins ECM Central Service actions. This cable is also included in the Jaltest Data-Link bundle, which is designed specifically for shops that need both Jaltest diagnostics and OEM software access from one hardware platform. If you're doing Cummins reprogramming or other Central Service procedures through your Jaltest link, this cable is required -- the standard Jaltest OBD cable will not satisfy the RP1210 requirement.
