Short Barbell

Short Rackable Barbell - Small Barbell for Compact Competitions & Home Gyms Tight on space but not on strength? Valor Fitness Shorty Barbells deliver full Olympic lift functionality in a space-saving design made for home gyms, compact setups, and competition training lanes. Available in 68" and 72" lengths, each short barbell keeps the essential 51.5–52" between the sleeves for proper grip and racking while shaving up to 14" off a standard bar. Built with smooth sleeve rotation, strong knurling, and durable tensile strength steel, these short sleeve barbells bring elite performance to limited spaces—without compromise. Features and Benefits SPACE-SAVING DESIGN: At just 68" and 72" long, these short barbells are ideal for garage gyms, tight training lanes, and crowded weight rooms. Save up to 14" compared to standard barbells while still training like a pro. FULLY RACKABLE: Despite their compact size, each short barbell features 51.5–52" between sleeves (standard spacing for Olympic bars) making them compatible with most power racks, rigs, and squat stands. OLYMPIC ROTATION: Each sleeve includes 2 needle bearings and 1 bushing for smooth, reliable spin. This consistent sleeve rotation helps you get under the bar efficiently during snatches, cleans, and other dynamic lifts. DURABLE & STRONG: Constructed from high-tensile steel (150k–165k PSI), these short rackable barbells hold up to 250–350 lb depending on model. Perfect for cycling workouts, competition prep, or daily garage gym training. Not intended for max-effort 1RMs. OPTIMIZED FOR CONTROL: Medium knurling with dual knurl-free guide marks offers secure grip without excessive abrasiveness. No center knurl for comfort during high-rep barbell cycling. SHORT SLEEVE EFFICIENCY: Shorter sleeves allow for the compact length while still providing 7–9" of etched, loadable sleeve space to secure Olympic plates without slippage. Please note that the small barbell should not be used during max effort lifts.
