Peaceful Valley Organic General Livestock Irrigated Pasture Mix - Nitrocoated Seed (lb)

Peaceful Valley Organic General Livestock Irrigated Pasture Mix is an excellent option for small-scale farmers and homesteaders aiming to establish a productive, nutrient-rich grazing system. Specially blended for irrigated pastures, this certified organic seed mix supports healthy livestock with high-quality forage from a mix of cool-season grasses and legumes, including perennial ryegrass, orchardgrass, meadow brome, and white clover. These species are selected for palatability, regrowth, and persistence in moist, well-managed soils. The mix thrives under full sun in fertile, well-drained soils with consistent irrigation. Its combination of deep-rooted grasses and nitrogen-fixing legumes improves soil structure and fertility, promoting sustainable pasture cycles and reducing the need for external fertilizers. With proper rotational grazing and care, this pasture mix provides season-long forage for cattle, sheep, goats, and other grazing animals. Whether you're revitalizing an existing pasture or seeding a new paddock, this irrigated mix offers dependable growth and long-term productivity. It is not recommended for dryland conditions. Sow in spring or late summer for best establishment and allow time for root development before heavy grazing.
