Positioned at the entrance of a valley in the Mahembe sector, the site gathers cherries from over a thousand producers, each contributing to a shared expression of the region. Recently revitalized under new ownership, the station has undergone careful restoration and renewed focus on quality. With expanded training programs and improvements to processing infrastructure, Nyabumera represents both continuity and forward momentum in Rwandan coffee production. Red Bourbon Red Bourbon is the foundation of Rwanda’s specialty coffee identity. At elevation, it produces cups that are structured, sweet, and fruit-forward, often defined by clarity and balance rather than intensity.
