NV25B8FE3T Vertical Pump 3HP

Product Description The NV25B8FE3T Vertical Pump is a high-efficiency, multi-stage booster pump designed for industrial, commercial, and agricultural applications. Its compact, in-line design allows for easy installation and space-saving operation while delivering exceptional performance and reliability. Equipped with a robust 3 HP, three-phase motor, this pump provides a flow rate of up to 25 GPM and can handle pressures up to 362 PSI. Constructed from premium 304 stainless steel, the NV25B8FE3T ensures excellent durability and corrosion resistance, making it ideal for use in challenging environments. Maintenance-free cartridge mechanical seals and ANSI standard flanged connections simplify installation and servicing, minimizing downtime. Certified to meet NSF/ANSI 61 and 372 standards, the NV25B8FE3T is ideal for reverse osmosis, water boosting, filtration systems, irrigation, and hot or cold water circulation. Combining advanced engineering and superior build quality, this pump is the perfect choice for demanding water handling needs. Installation Manual Installation Instructions for NV25B8FE3T Vertical Pump Preparation: Inspect the pump and motor for visible damage during shipping. Report any issues to the carrier or dealer immediately. Ensure the installation site is level, stable, and provides adequate space and ventilation for motor cooling and servicing. Verify that the pump model and motor specifications match the system requirements and application. Mounting the Pump: Secure the pump base to a flat, solid surface to minimize vibrations during operation. Align and support the suction and discharge piping to prevent undue strain on the pump. Install isolation valves on both the suction and discharge sides for easier servicing and maintenance. Piping Connections: Ensure piping matches the pump’s 1.5" ANSI 150# flanged connections. Install appropriate gaskets to prevent leaks and ensure proper sealing. Remove any protective covers or caps from the flanges before installation. For hot water systems, include a bleed valve in the discharge line to relieve pressure during servicing. Electrical Connection: Have a certified electrician verify the electrical supply matches the motor’s specifications (3 HP, three-phase). Ensure correct motor wiring and confirm counterclockwise rotation when viewed from the motor’s rear. If rotation is incorrect, reverse any two leads on a three-phase motor to correct it. Priming the Pump: Remove the fill plug and fill the pump casing with water using a funnel. Open the vent plug to allow air to escape as the pump fills with water. Re-seal the vent and fill plugs once a steady stream of water flows from the vent. Initial Testing: Fully open the suction valve and partially open the discharge valve. Apply power to the motor and monitor for smooth operation without unusual noise or vibration. Gradually open the discharge valve to achieve the desired operating conditions. Safety Precautions: Never operate the pump without water to avoid damaging internal components. Replace coupling guards after installation to ensure operator safety. Ensure the pump is properly grounded and all connections are secure before starting.
