Copper Nunki Weeder

Nunki is a hand weeder designed for effortless work between rows and around established plants.  Its sharp, hooped blade scuffles the soil surface while cutting weed roots cleanly below ground, making it especially effective on mat-forming weeds such as chickweed and speedwell. The loop cuts on both sides in a smooth, sweeping motion, loosening soil without piling it up or disturbing nearby plants. Formed from a traditional bronze alloy rich in copper, it combines the natural benefits of copper with the strength and durability of bronze. Copper-rich tools are valued in the garden for their natural resistance to rust and low-friction surface, which helps prevent soil (whether sticky clay or sandy loam) from clinging to the metal. Over time, they may also contribute trace elements that support healthy soil biology.
