Developed out of the NMSU Chili Pepper Institute, this ornamental variety is one you'll want to grow in your garden! NuMex Easter plants are compact enough to grow in containers, reaching just under 1 ft. tall and about 10 inches wide, allowing a wide variety of planting applications and visual enjoyment. These are early maturing plants, growing tiny, 1" long pods that are grouped into clusters and point upwards. They are shaped like miniature teardrops, tapering off to a point, and ripening into beautiful Easter-like colors such as purple, yellow, orange, and cream.
