NOW Real Food Sprouting Jar – 1/2 Gallon with Stainless Steel Screen & Lid

NOW Real Food Sprouting Jar is a convenient 1/2-gallon home sprouting system designed for growing fresh sprouts from seeds, legumes, and grains. The spacious jar includes a stainless steel screen and lid that make soaking, rinsing, draining, and ventilating sprouts easier throughout the growing process. To begin, add sprouting seeds or legumes and grains with three times as much water, then soak according to the included directions. After soaking, the stainless steel screen helps drain water while keeping the contents securely inside. Positioning the jar at an angle encourages thorough drainage and airflow, which are important for successful home sprouting. Depending on the seed variety, sprouts are typically ready within three to five days. Place the jar in indirect sunlight during the final day to encourage chlorophyll development. The large 1/2-gallon capacity is suitable for households, frequent sprouters, and anyone interested in growing fresh ingredients at home. This reusable sprouting jar offers a straightforward setup for producing sprouts for salads, sandwiches, wraps, bowls, and other recipes. Sprouting seeds are sold separately.
