Nove

Nove is the Portuguese word for nine. This wall art panel celebrates the beauty, provenance, and sustainability of one of our favorite materials: cork. After an initial growth period of 25 years, trees in the cork forests of Portugal can be harvested every nine years in a process that does not harm the tree and increases its ability to absorb CO2. Often used as an unseen backing material in our products, Nove places cork front and center. The design's strong lines and subtle surface relief are contained in a sleek powder-coated cradle, creating a modern piece that honors this ancient material.
