Well, Dawn Spencer Hurwitz saved you a trip. Deep, woody green conifer needles dangle overhead, raining down their invigorating scent. The wood is both bright and densely resinous at the same time, passing over you like a protective and grounding blanket. Transparent whisps of smokiness trail by every so often as if they’re leading you along the forest path. The forest floor is soft and giving, welcoming. There’s an awakening, sweet and soothing burn that wafts up every few steps from your cognac, you classy thing, you. Stay, and enjoy your journey.   Notes include amber, bergamot, balsam fir, birch tar, bitter orange, Brazilian vetiver, cognac, conifer, East Indian patchouli, fir needle, oakmoss, incense, sage, spruce, musk, nutmeg, sandalwood and cedarwood. Dawn Spencer Hurwitz is a niche perfumer based on Boulder, Co. She began her perfumery career in Boston's Essence Perfumery.
