Northrop AT-39B Talon airplane model. A large unit of nearly 100 aircraft, the 479th Tactical Training Wing at Holloman AFB, NM once operated what was known as LIFT, or Lead-In Fighter Training program. Its aircraft were what might be called "manly" T-38's because the AT-38B was capable of carrying gun pods, rockets, and practice bombs, plus they all bore this spectacular ACM camouflage Mahogany Wood. Scale: 1/32. Wingspan 8 1/4 inches, Length 17 1/2 inches.
