Northern Lights Bargello Diamond Wave

This Northern Lights diamond wave bargello  quilt features an intricate geometric design with tones of red, navy and aqua. The fabrics within the quilt offer floral and geometrical detailing which add depth to this striking design. This queen-sized quilt has a blue floral border and navy-blue binding. The diamond wave is finalized with a tonal white patterned mini print. ABOUT THIS PATTERN The Northern Lights bargello diamond wave is a unique pattern that uses strip piecing and step looping. Long strips of different fabrics are sewn together to create the tube. The tube is cut  vertically into narrow strips of varying widths. The quilter then shifts them up or down, step by step. The diamonds are the result of shifting the strips in opposite directions.
