North toward St. Helens

This is a 4”x6” gouache and acrylic painting on cold press watercolor paper. Gouache is kind of like a thick watercolor paint; I love it for its opacity and chalkiness. I will sign the painting on the front and back. I am donating $10 from the purchase of this painting to the Oregon Food Bank. This is a painting of the north view out of our apartment; if we’re lucky, we can sometimes see Mt. St. Helens. I recommend framing this painting with a mat that has a 5”x7” opening – so, look for a frame that says 5”x7” mat, or 5”x7” art/photo. The interior dimensions of the frame itself will be larger. Framing with a 5”x7” mat will allow you to see the full painting and I like the “natural” edge of the painting. You can also choose a 4”x6” mat, but it will cover up a small portion of the painting and you won’t have the extra white space. You can find some inexpensive 5”x7” frame options here. See the additional photos for an illustration. PRICE INCLUDES US GROUND SHIPPING. PLEASE NOTE: International shipping for $25 is available at check-out. I cannot guarantee a delivery time frame for international shipment. Due to differences in screen displays, colors may vary slightly. If you have any concerns please contact me and I'll be happy to send you more photos of the painting. All sales are final.
