Eave Modular Sofa - 34" Depth Open Modules

The Eave Modular Sofa 34" Depth Open Module from Audo Copenhagen brings architectural precision to versatile seating through thoughtful design and considered proportions. Created by the acclaimed Norm Architects studio, this foundational piece takes its name from the "eaves" of a roof that extend beyond a wall—a concept elegantly translated into the sofa's distinctive curved armrests that gracefully arc outward to create a sense of shelter and embrace. This more compact depth variant offers refined comfort with a tailored profile, creating a perfect solution for urban apartments, formal living areas, or spaces where a more upright, conversational posture is desired. The module's clean geometric form is softened by the distinctive curved armrests—a signature detail that defines the entire Eave collection while providing both visual interest and practical comfort for users. The considered width creates a perfectly proportioned single seat that maintains visual lightness while providing ample personal space. Exceptional craftsmanship defines every aspect of this module—from the robust internal structure of pine, plywood, and MDF to the system of no-sag springs and high-resilience foam that provides consistent comfort while maintaining its shape through years of use. The thoughtfully designed seat proportions create the perfect balance between support and relaxation, encouraging engaged interaction while maintaining comfort during extended sitting. Available in a range of premium upholstery options, this versatile building block allows for personalization while maintaining its distinctive architectural character. With pre-mounted brackets for seamless connection to other Eave components, the 34" Open Module serves as a versatile foundation in countless custom configurations. Whether used to create a streamlined straight sofa, incorporated into a corner arrangement, or positioned as a sophisticated standalone piece, this element exemplifies Norm Architects' philosophy that nothing should be added or taken away—every curve and proportion exists in perfect balance, creating furniture that enhances rather than dominates its surroundings.
