Why You'll Love the Norfolk Island Pine At home indoors, and easy to move: It thrives in a bright spot inside the home and can move from room to room or travel with you wherever life leads. It is also a living alternative to a cut holiday tree, one you keep and tend rather than set out at the curb. A calm, evergreen presence: Soft needles in deep green, layered in even, symmetrical tiers, bring a quiet, living beauty to any bright room. It holds its full green all year, not only in one season. Easygoing Style: Low-maintenance and slow-growing, this evergreen doesn’t demand much. With simple care and a bright location, this tree is forgiving and rewarding, making it a wonderful choice for both experienced and first-time plant owners. Container Champion: Its ability to thrive indoors makes it ideal for apartments, homes, offices, and spaces where outdoor planting is not possible. Although this variety can grow large if planted outdoors, it'll happily stay compact in pots.  Each Treebute Kit Includes ✓ Hardy tribute tree (size you select) ✓ Step-by-step planting & watering care guide ✓ Personalized memorial message ➕ Optional Add-Ons (Customize Your Treebute Kit) ○ Planter (choose your style & size) ○ Premium potting mix (for indoor or patio planting) ○ Cremation-safe organic soil blend (for ashes, if/when you're ready)     Many customers plant without ashes, and that's just as meaningful. One thoughtfully packaged kit, everything arrives together, ready to plant. Nurturing Your Memorial Tree Even if you're new to planting, Norfolk Island Pines are rewarding and approachable with simple care. Light: Bright, indirect light near a sunny window works best. Water: Water when the surface of the soil begins to feel dry. Keep the soil lightly moist, but not soggy. That's it: This tree appreciates consistent care and a comfortable indoor environment. A little attention goes a long way. Each moment caring for your tree becomes a quiet act of remembrance. Optional: Plant with Cremation Ashes – The Treebute® Difference For those wishing to incorporate cremation ashes, your kit includes the option to add our Treebute® organic soil blend. This specially formulated mixture creates a safe, nurturing foundation for your tree, transforming ashes into living growth.
