Nomex Batting, 60 x 120 in.

Nomex Batting is used for adding a soft touch to seat cushions. It is excellent for channeling and tufting.  This batting is capable of passing the 14 CFR 25.853(c) Oil Burn for Seat Cushion test without a fire barrier, but do not use this product in place of a fire barrier. It is not adequate enough to protect the foam on its own. See our favorite Fire Blocking Fabric instead. 60 inches wide; 1/2 inch thick. Sold in 10 foot lengths (QTY 1 = 10 feet; QTY 2 = 20 feet, etc.). Includes FAA burn certificate for 25.853(a). More cost-effective (but more flammable) alternatives may be available. • This product is acceptable for use in all types aircraft and rotorcraft. • Can pass the 14 CFR 25.853(c) Oil Burn for Seat Cushion test when paired with a suitable foam. Can be used to enhance dress cover performance when sewn or glued underneath. • Do not use this product in place of a fire blocking layer except with DAX Foam® or Galaxy foam. It is not adequate to protect most other foams on its own. Use our Fire Blocking Fabric instead. Unknown at this time whether this material is acceptable for use in Marine applications. This material meets all requirements for railway applications.
