Nomad Design Buffalo Jr Micro Jigs

The Nomad Design Buffalo Jr takes the flash fall design of Nomad's full-size Buffalo jig and scales it down for light tackle. It keeps the original's center-weighted balance, so instead of dropping straight to the bottom it flutters and flashes on the way down and hangs in the strike zone longer than a typical micro jig. That slower, controlled sink is what makes it useful in shallow water, where a heavy jig that falls like a rock gets hung up or blows past the fish. Nomad designed the Buffalo Jr for estuary jigging, shallow reef fishing and light offshore work. Cast it out and let it flutter back, or drop it vertically under the boat, and it gives you a compact, finesse option for pressured fish. Each jig comes rigged with a BKK assist hook dressed with flash, hung from the head. We carry it in three weights and seven colors, including Anchovy and Red Crab patterns that match bait found along the Southern California coast.
