Blacksmith BioScience NoFly WP Mycoinsecticide

NoFly WP Organic Mycoinsecticide – Nature’s Answer to Pest Control Take a natural approach to protecting your garden with NoFly WP, an organic wettable powder mycoinsecticide formulated with spores of the entomopathogenic fungus Isaria fumosoroseus strain FE 9901. This naturally occurring fungus is an aggressive predator of insect pests but won’t harm your plants or beneficial insects like bees. How it works: When the spores in NoFly WP come into contact with an insect pest, they attach immediately to the pest’s body. As the spores germinate, a germ tube penetrates the insect, and fungal multiplication begins inside the host. This invasion disrupts the pest’s internal systems—stopping feeding within 24 hours and leading to death in just 3 to 7 days. Key Features & Benefits Broad-Spectrum Efficacy: Controls pests at all life stages, from egg to adult, including aphids, beetles (such as darkling and hide beetles), fungus gnats, grasshoppers, leafhoppers, locusts, lygus bugs, mealybugs, various mites, Mormon crickets, plant bugs, psyllids, thrips, weevils, and whiteflies. It’s also effective against gnats, litter beetles, northern fowl mites, red poultry mites, and moths in commercial livestock operations. Eco-Friendly & Safe: With minimal residue issues and no adverse effects on beneficial insects (including bees), NoFly WP is ideal for Integrated Pest Management (IPM) programs and sustainable farming practices. Optimized Conditions for Success: Temperature: Best spore germination between 72–84°F (22–28°C). Humidity: Optimal performance at 50% or greater. If conditions are below 50% humidity, spray immediately after watering or irrigation. pH Resilience: Remains effective across a wide pH range (4.0–9.0). Fast-Acting Results: Once pests come into contact with the spores, they stop feeding within 24 hours and die within 3–7 days, ensuring swift and efficient pest suppression. Safe Use Intervals: Enjoy a 12-hour Restricted Entry Interval (REI) and a 0-day Pre-Harvest Interval (PHI), making it convenient for use even on food crops. Versatile Crop Applications NoFly WP is suitable for a wide range of crops, including but not limited to: Fruits & Vegetables: Berry & small fruit, citrus, cucurbit vegetables, fruiting vegetables, leafy vegetables, root/tuber vegetables, stone fruit, and more. Specialty Crops: Brassica (cole) vegetables, bulb vegetables, cereal grains, grapes, herbs & spices, hops, legume vegetables, mint, mushrooms, oilseed, peanuts, pome fruit, seed crops, stalk & stem vegetables, tobacco, tree nuts, and tropical/subtropical fruit (including inedible peels).
