Nodier 17 Pendant

The Nodier 17" Pendant by Christiane Lemieux draws from the restrained modernism of Swedish Grace and Danish functionalism—movements that prized clarity, craftsmanship, and the poetic use of natural materials. Its cylindrical glass shade, mouth-blown and gently bubbled, recalls Paavo Tynell’s delicate handling of light and Alvar Aalto’s reverence for form in dialogue with function. Here, transparency becomes ornament: the seeded glass diffuses light with a soft, natural sparkle, while hand-finished burnished brass and aged iron fittings frame a simple exposed bulb. At 17 inches, this pendant is perfect alone or in multiples above a kitchen island, bar, or dining table—balancing artisan imperfection with modern precision. Designed for those who appreciate simplicity as sophistication, Nodier transforms functional light into a quietly radiant gesture. As enthusiasts of modern aesthetics at Amethyst, we love the warm modern inspired Nodier 17 Pendant. This item pairs well with other brands such as Four Hands and is perfect for eclectic homes.
