NO REPLY - COMPLETE SET

KAWS – No Reply (2015) No Reply is a series created by KAWS in 2015, presented here as a complete set, part of a limited edition of only 100 copies, of which this is number 83/100. Each work is hand-signed and numbered by the artist. The series consists of ten screenprints on laid paper, each measuring 88.9x58.4 cm (unframed). This collection represents a rare example of KAWS's serial approach, in which both his distinctive visual language and his deep interest in contemporary visual culture emerge strongly. The entire body of work fits into the artist's ongoing exploration of themes related to identity, communication, and mass culture. No Reply is characterized by a direct and immediate visual language, drawing inspiration from the world of cartoons and commercial media. Each panel appears as an enlarged detail—almost an abstract snapshot—of a broader scene. The iconic "X" eyes—an unmistakable trademark of the artist—appear alongside other recognizable figurative elements such as eyelashes and facial contours, all rendered with clean lines and flat, vibrant color fields. The vivid and perfectly balanced color palette enhances the visual impact of each composition. The series recalls KAWS's early experiments with advertising posters, preserving the tension between public and private space, between appropriation and visual reinvention.
