No. 2 Surcingle Snap-Hook Suspenders

A TRADITION WORTH KEEPING Some things never go out of style. Suspenders have been worn by gentlemen, craftsmen, ranchers, and outdoorsmen for generations, prized for their comfort, practicality, and distinctive character. The No. 2 Surcingle Snap-Hook Suspenders carry on that tradition with a design created specifically for modern everyday wear. A WORD FROM THE COLONEL “I’ve been fond of suspenders since the 1970s and have a fairly extensive collection. I wear my Colonel suspenders almost every day. These aren’t dress braces . . . I designed mine to be worn with jeans and khakis – an easy, stylish, and comfortable addition to your wardrobe.” -Colonel Littleton Handcrafted in small batches in the Colonel Littleton Workshop in Lynnville, Tennessee, these suspenders are made from durable 1¼” W khaki Cotton Surcingle webbing and trimmed with full-grain American Buffalo leather. A traditional Y-back design is accented by a solid brass pommel shield* and finished with solid brass hardware throughout. DESIGNED AND BUILT FOR JEANS, KHAKIS AND CASUAL ATTIRE Unlike formal dress braces, Colonel designed these suspenders to pair naturally with jeans, khakis, and other casual attire. Three solid brass scissor-style snap hooks attach securely to your belt loops, while eight inches of front strap adjustment allows for a comfortable personalized fit. Leather keepers help maintain proper strap alignment for a neat appearance. The suspenders are 39” x 48” end to end, so one size fits most. Whether you’re looking for a comfortable alternative to a belt or simply appreciate the timeless appeal of suspenders, the No. 2 Surcingle Suspenders make an easy, stylish addition to any wardrobe. Each pair arrives packaged in our Signature Colonel Littleton Gift Box, making them an exceptional gift for weddings, groomsmen, birthdays, or any special occasion. Note: *Historically, the pommel shield was used on U. S. Cavalry saddles to identify the seat size and, many times, the arsenal that supplied them. When it comes to American Buffalo, Colonel says, “Expect a leather that is unapologetically rugged with character, natural markings and variations in color.” Learn more about our American Buffalo Leather.
