No. 2 Braided Wire 1,500ft

About the product Picture wire is a staple in picture hanging, a classic component that has been used for centuries. It is specially designed for hanging pictures and other items on the wall and made of strong and durable steel, either braided, stainless, or vinyl-coated. Braided wire is made of interwoven strands of galvanized steel, offering both strength and flexibility. Picture wire for small to medium-sized artwork, frames, and decor Measures 1,500 ft and .040" in diameter Supports up to 12 lbs Wire size #2 Galvanized steel Use in conjunction with frame hangers Instructions Measure the distance between the frame’s hanging points. Cut a length of the wire 4-6” more than the distance measured. Take one end of the wire and thread about a two-inch length downward through one frame hanger. Criss-cross the parallel wires.  Then thread the short end of the wire again up into the frame hanger, creating a loop. Hold the loop in place and thread the wire through it. Then pull it tight to lock it. Wrap the short end around the rest of the wire to secure it and cut off the excess. Pull the wire taut to make sure the wire won’t exceed the top edge of the frame. Then stretch the wire to the other side, leaving enough slack so its mounting point is halfway between the frame’s top edge and the frame hangers. Repeat steps 3-6 on the second frame hanger.
