No. 137 Adele Bandana

If you catch the scent of freshly-tapped syrup or cedar smoke drifting through the trees, Adele’s nearby. She’s gritty and always ready to take the chore that requires the most brute force. She’s whimsical and hums lullabies to herself without realizing. Adele makes any home feel impossibly cozy with mismatched quilts and candles melted down to the nub. She might not say she missed you, but the stew’s been simmering for hours. She always knows when someone’s coming back.
