NJP Mini Table Lamp by Louis Poulsen

In 2022 the prestigious Japanese design studio Nendo led by founder Oki Sato presented the NJP Mini with Louis Poulsen, making the family of NJP fixtures even more versatile. The NJP Mini is a petite version of the NJP Table with downscaled proportions. Both are a modernistic take on the classic architect lamp with the flexibility of two joints on the extensive arm. The characteristic rear-shade opening toward the arm allows stepless adjustment of the organic head. Combined with its smooth rotatable arm, which can rotate 342° around the base, it provides freedom to direct the light exactly where it it needed. Its relatively small size ensures that it fits perfectly anywhere, creating little islands of comforting light not only in bedrooms, living spaces, and home offices—but also in cafés, hotel rooms, offices, lounge areas, etc. The NJP Mini fits perfectly on a windowsill, a large bookcase, a dresser, a bedside table, or a small desk—creating a soothing drop of ambiance. In addition to the classic colors of black, white and light gray, this new addition to the NJP family has been designed in a warm four-color palette of rose brown, soft pink, petrol blue, and taupe. All seven colors add a timeless edge to the lamp's contemporary design—created for contemplation and a subtle interplay that matches most interiors. The fixture emits a softly diffused, downwardly directed, glare-free light. It fades in at a fixed light level when switched on and fades out when switched off. The timer function can be used to switch it off automatically after either four or eight hours. The fixture provides a broad light distribution for its relatively small size. The shade's white-painted interior helps to comfortably reflect the light. The arm has a stationary angle of 15°, and it can rotate 342° around the base. The head can be tilted and rotated to direct the light. View all Louis Poulsen table lamps here.
