45.400 Wave Soldering Machine

Extended Convection Preheat for High-Speed Production The 45.400 is built for demanding production environments, featuring an extended 1.8 m convection preheat system designed to support higher conveyor speeds without compromising thermal stability. Three independent zones: fine-tuned thermal control for complex assemblies Optimized for high-mass PCBs: consistent heating across large or dense boards Optional top-side heating: enhanced balance for sensitive applications A Windows-based control platform provides real-time visibility and full profile management for repeatable results. External Fluxing System for Cleaner Operation Unlike traditional designs, the 45.400 separates the fluxing process from the heating chamber, improving both performance and serviceability. Servo-driven spray system: accurate, repeatable flux application Low-pressure atomization: consistent coating with reduced overspray Isolated flux zone: prevents contamination inside the preheat section An integrated filtration and reclamation system captures and reuses flux, lowering consumption while keeping the system cleaner over time. Precision Wave Control for Consistent Results The dual-wave configuration is engineered for stability and repeatability across a wide range of board types. Turbulent chip wave: ensures complete hole fill Smooth main wave: removes excess solder for clean joints Selectable wave modes: adapt to SMT or through-hole processes Transducer-controlled drive systems maintain stable wave height, while smart automation features reduce unnecessary operation and material waste. High-Capacity Solder System with Rapid Change Capability At the core of the 45.400 is a large-capacity titanium solder pot designed for continuous, high-volume operation. ~420 kg capacity: supports extended production runs Carriage-mounted design: simplified access for maintenance Motorized positioning: controlled movement for service and setup An optional second pot enables fast transitions between solder alloys, ideal for mixed-production environments. Advanced Options for Process Optimization The 45.400 can be configured to meet higher performance requirements through optional atmosphere and cooling enhancements. Nitrogen capability: improves wettability and reduces oxidation Sealed thermal design: minimizes gas consumption Oxygen monitoring: maintains process consistency Enhanced cooling systems: tighter control over solidification Optional external chiller: supports aggressive cooling profiles Integrated Handling for Continuous Production Optional inlet and unload conveyors allow the 45.400 to integrate seamlessly into automated production lines. Adjustable conveyors: match line height, speed, and angle Controlled transfer: protects assemblies post-soldering Flexible configuration: supports a wide range of workflows
