Nitelife

A mid-century typeface with the glow of a late-night neon sign. Nitelife pulls from the world of blues clubs, cocktail menus, jazz sleeves, and mid-century nightlife culture. It brings back the warm hum of neon lights, the uneven shimmer of vintage spotlights, and the playful angles of hand-lettered lounge signage. Created by Lenny Terenzi, this typeface reflects a lifetime inside music halls, print shops, and screen-inked mid-century ephemera. Lenny has spent decades balancing design work with a musician’s ear, and you can feel the rhythm in every letter. The tall forms, the staggered baselines, the sharp curves, the noir-leaning stance all make NIGHTLIFE perfect for posters and packaging that need real personality, not a digital imitation. Use it for gig posters, jazz records, tiki bar menus, mystery comics, book covers, and any project that needs a hit of mid-century attitude with honest craft behind it. Mid-century Magic: Inspired by neon signs, jazz sleeves, and vintage lounge culture for an unmistakably retro vibe. Designed with Rhythm: Tall forms, sharp curves, and staggered baselines make your typography sing. Built by a Pro: Created by Lenny Terenzi of Hey Monkey Design—an artist with deep roots in music and mid-century design. Authentic Feel: No digital shortcuts—this typeface has the energy and imperfection of hand-drawn signage. This typeface isn’t trying to replicate retro. It emerged from a life of blues, jazz, and mid-century design.
