NiSi Brass Pro Step-Up Ring - 62-77mm

Overview The NiSi Brass Pro 62-77mm Step Up Ring is a precision-machined adapter designed to let you use 77mm threaded filters on lenses with a 62mm filter thread. Part of the NiSi Brass Pro Step Up Ring range, this adapter is built for photographers and content creators who want a reliable, low-friction solution for expanding their filter compatibility without switching between multiple filter sizes. Whether you are a landscape photographer shooting long exposures, a travel shooter looking to simplify your kit, or an enthusiast building a versatile filter system, this brass step up ring offers a practical and well-engineered way to get more from the filters you already own. Experience & Benefits One of the most common frustrations with standard aluminum step up rings is binding — that locked, difficult-to-remove feeling that can cost you valuable time in the field. The NiSi Brass Pro Step Up Ring addresses this directly. Brass construction naturally resists the binding and jamming that can occur with aluminum rings, particularly when filters are attached for extended periods or during temperature changes. This makes removal smoother and less stressful, especially when you are working quickly on location. Inside the ring, a special anti-reflective treatment minimizes internal reflections that could otherwise degrade image quality. This is particularly relevant during long exposures and high-contrast shooting scenarios where stray light entering through the filter thread area can cause unwanted artefacts. The matte black interior finish works with this treatment to absorb rather than scatter light, keeping your images clean and consistent. Practical Details The 62-77mm step up ring is the correct choice when your lens has a 62mm filter thread and you want to use 77mm filters. This is a common pairing for compact prime lenses and certain mirrorless system lenses, where smaller front elements are paired with a larger filter ecosystem. By stepping up to 77mm, you gain access to a broader range of NiSi circular filters without needing to invest in a separate set for each lens thread size.
