NiSi 82mm True Color VND/PL Pro Nano 1-5 Stops (0.3-1.5) Variable ND and Polarizer

The NiSi 82mm True Color VND/PL Pro Nano 1-5 Stops combines a true color variable ND and a polarizer in a single filter, with the two controlled independently. Cut 1 to 5 stops of light (0.3–1.5) and dial in exactly the amount of glare control a scene needs, without one adjustment undoing the other, and without the color cast that so often comes with combined filters. Independent VND & PL Control Density and polarization can be adjusted independently, so changing polarization does not affect the ND stop setting. Dial in the perfect exposure and reflection control for any scene without compromise. VND/PL, 2-in-1 Two essential filters in one, reducing light and cutting glare from water, glass, and foliage with a single filter. Less gear, faster setup, and more shooting. True Color Technology Engineered for accurate, neutral color performance across the entire adjustment range. Unlike many other PL filters, it produces no magenta tint or warm color cast, preserving consistent tones whether you are shooting RAW stills or LOG video. Wide Range of Light Control Covers 1 to 5 stops of light reduction while eliminating the X pattern (cross-polarization) seen in many VNDs, giving you the freedom to adapt instantly as light changes. Perfect for long-exposure photography or creating natural motion blur in video. Ultra-Slim Metal Frame Built from durable aluminum alloy with a corrosion-resistant finish, and slim enough to prevent vignetting even on ultra-wide lenses like a 15mm full-frame. So you can compose freely without compromise. 4-Side Low-Reflection Nano Coating All four air-to-glass surfaces of the filter’s two optical elements carry a multi-layer nano deposition coating. It cuts reflections, repels water and oil, and makes cleaning quick and effortless. Luminescent Markings Markings glow in low light, so you can see and adjust settings without a headlamp or phone screen — keeping your eyes on the scene, not on the gear. Metal Lens Cap The included metal lens cap provides durable protection for your lens when not in use, helping to guard against scratches, dust and accidental impacts during transport and storage. Precision-machined from aluminum, it securely attaches to the front of the filter, while the updated silver finish perfectly complements the filter’s premium design. SWIFT System Compatible Pairs seamlessly with other SWIFT filters, so you can stack effects like mist or ND without worrying about fit or performance. Good to Know Please avoid adjusting the polarizer at high density settings (4–5 stops), as this may result in overly saturated colors. Whether you are smoothing water in bright midday sun, holding a cinematic shutter angle while the light shifts, or simply cutting reflections off glass and leaves, the NiSi 82mm True Color VND/PL Pro Nano 1-5 Stops replaces two filters with one and keeps your colors exactly where you set them. Recommended Focal Lengths We recommend focal lengths of 35mm and longer with our variable ND range. This is because on wide-angle lenses, the polarization cannot be even across the entire field of view.
