NiSi 72mm NC UV for Hasselblad (Brass Frame)

The NiSi 72mm NC UV for Hasselblad (Brass Frame) is a protective UV filter engineered for Hasselblad’s 100+ megapixel sensors, where every bit of sharpness matters. To meet that standard it combines lens-grade optical glass with NiSi’s latest ULRC coating and a new production technique that improves glass flatness and parallelism, protecting your front element while keeping images clean, contrasty, and razor-sharp. Engineered for Hasselblad Using Hasselblad cameras and lenses means pursuing the highest image quality, and at that level every optical flaw matters. The NC UV for Hasselblad adds front-element protection and haze reduction without compromising resolution or contrast. It is a practical working tool that lets you focus entirely on your photography rather than on your gear. Lens-Grade Optical Glass The filter uses lens-grade optical glass selected for chemical stability, high light transmittance, and neutral color rendition. Together these characteristics meet demanding image-quality requirements and deliver the outstanding optical performance that Hasselblad’s high-resolution sensors and lenses were built around, frame after frame. Up to 99.9% Light Transmittance NiSi’s latest Ultra Low Reflection Coating (ULRC) achieves up to 99.9% light transmittance, minimizing reflections, flare, and light loss. Even in backlit scenes or around strong light sources, any flare generated by the filter is barely noticeable, which helps keep your images neutral and true to life. Ready for 100+ MP Sensors Even on Hasselblad bodies with 100+ megapixels, the filter delivers full resolution and detail right across the frame. NiSi’s latest production technique improves surface flatness and parallelism, so the filter preserves the resolving power your camera and lens were engineered to deliver rather than quietly eroding it. Blocks UV Light and Cuts Haze By blocking ultraviolet light below 395nm, the NC UV reduces the atmospheric haze that builds over long shooting distances. Contrast improves and distant subjects render cleaner and clearer, a genuine benefit when you are working across a valley or a city skyline, and it does so without shifting color or costing you light. Repels Water and Oil Both surfaces carry a double-sided, 48-layer water and oil repellent nano coating. Rain and sea spray bead up while dust and fingerprints wipe away in seconds, so the filter stays clean in the field and absorbs the handling and weather exposure that would otherwise reach your lens’s front element. Solid Brass Frame with Paint-Filled Markings A solid brass frame threads on smoothly and resists the warping and jamming that can affect lighter frames in cold conditions or after an impact. Clear paint-filled markings identify the filter type and size at a glance, even in low light, so the frame keeps working season after season. Fits Your Original Lens Cap The frame is precisely machined so your Hasselblad lens’s original cap still fits securely over the filter, with no unwanted gaps. There is no need to carry a spare cap, and the cap stays firmly in place during transport, shooting, and camera movement. Compatible Hasselblad Lenses Suits any Hasselblad lens with a 72mm front filter thread, including: Hasselblad XCD 2,5/25V Hasselblad XCD 4/28P Hasselblad XCD 2,5/38V Hasselblad XCD 2,5/55V Hasselblad XCD 3,4/75P Hasselblad XCD 2,5/90V Whether you are shooting landscapes at altitude, working on location with a client, or travelling light with your X System, the NiSi 72mm NC UV for Hasselblad (Brass Frame) protects your lens while preserving the sharpness, contrast, and color neutrality that made you choose Hasselblad in the first place. It is a professional-grade filter built to keep pace with the most demanding medium format lenses and the highest-resolution sensors on the market.
