VIS-NIR Fiber Dip Probe

This VIS-NIR Fiber Dip Probe is designed for measuring the transmittance and absorbance of liquid solutions directly in beakers or other containers. This probe is an indispensable accessory for laboratory research, providing reliable performance for kinetic reaction studies and dissolution testing. Covering a wide spectral range from 380 nm to 2200 nm, the FDP accommodates both NIR and VIS applications thanks to high-quality silica fibers. Multiple pathlength tip options (1, 2, 5, 10, and 20 mm) are available to fit various analytical requirements.  The PVC-jacketed fiber, SMA905 connectors, and a flexible 1.5 m cable ensure compatibility and ease of use. Robustly constructed with a 316L stainless steel shaft, a silica window, and an epoxy seal, it offers chemical resistance suitable for many laboratory environments.  Chemical resistance data indicate suitability for most acids, bases, aromatics, and alcohols, with conditional resistance to ketones/ethers (see datasheet for full details). Operating temperatures reach up to 80°C, and all wetted components are selected for durability.
