Inspired by '80s basketball style, the Nike SB Code 58 brings a varsity look to the Nike SB lineup. Mixed materials add structure while keeping the shoe lightweight. Available to shop in-store and online at No-Comply Skateshop in downtown Austin, TX, the Black/Summit White/Gum Light Brown colorway is a clean, classic palette that works on and off the board. BLACK/SUMMIT WHITE-BLACK-GUM LIGHT BROWN Style: IB0108-001 Technical Component Specification Detail Design Heritage The Code 58 draws its aesthetic from '80s basketball footwear - the varsity-era silhouettes that defined Nike's athletic identity before skateboarding adopted them as its own. The Black/Summit White/Gum Light Brown colorway is a clean, high-contrast palette that references classic basketball colorways while keeping the look versatile enough for everyday wear on and off the board. Upper Construction Mixed materials upper combining suede and synthetic leather with mesh for a lightweight, structured feel. The Black base with Summit White and Gum Light Brown accents gives the Code 58 a clean, classic look - the kind of colorway that holds up through heavy use without looking worn out. The mixed construction adds visual texture and structure while keeping the overall weight down. Fit and Support Inner gore straps provide a locked-in, secure midfoot fit straight out of the box - no break-in period required to get the shoe sitting right on the foot. The gore strap system keeps the upper snug during skating without relying solely on lace tension, reducing shifting during technical footwork. Cushioning and Construction Cupsole construction with a foam midsole delivers lightweight, responsive cushioning underfoot. The cupsole wraps the midsole for lateral stability and durability, keeping the foot stable during technical footwork while the foam midsole absorbs impact on landings without the thick stack height that reduces board feel. Outsole Traction Rubber outsole with the classic Nike pivot circle delivers durable traction and heritage style - the pivot circle is a direct reference to '80s basketball court footwear, translated here into a skate-ready outsole with reliable grip on grip tape and street surfaces. WASH & CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Remove loose surface dirt and grip tape dust from the upper using a soft sneaker brush or dry microfiber cloth. Spot clean suede panels carefully using a dedicated suede eraser and brush - avoid heavy water saturation to keep the nap from hardening. Clean synthetic leather and mesh panels with a mild soap solution and a soft cloth. Allow to air dry naturally at room temperature away from direct sunlight or high heat sources. Do not machine wash or tumble dry. Shop the full collection of Nike SB Skateboarding Shoes online or visit us in-store at No-Comply Skateshop in downtown Austin, TX.
