Clover Press proudly presents the second volume in the DC Art of… series, a line of high-end boutique art books showcasing the very best artists to craft the DC multiverse. Three-time Eisner Award-winning artist Bruno Redondo has built a world-class career perfecting the look of DC Comics in the 21st century. After making a name for himself on titles like Human Target (with Len Wein), Push, and Batman: Arkham Unhinged, he joined his Star Wars: Darth Maul collaborator Tom Taylor (DCeased, All-New Wolverine) to take the reins of Injustice: Gods Among Us. Together the pair elevated a digital-first video game tie-in comic to a fan-favorite series that also earned stellar reviews. Over the course of five compulsive years, weaving through the narrative of two bestselling fighting games, Injustice and its sequel series earned a fiercely devoted readership while expanding on a world that redefined the possibilities for DC’s characters. The scope and tenure of the story also provided the perfect testing ground for Bruno to experiment with and hone his signature style of fluid, unencumbered pencil work combined with a precision sense of design. After Injustice’s conclusion, Bruno lent his name to other high-profile DC series, including Justice League (with Scott Snyder), Titans (with Dan Abnett), and Suicide Squad (again with Tom Taylor). Then came Nightwing. Beginning with Nightwing #78, Bruno and Tom began what quickly became one of the seminal runs on comics’ first sidekick, Dick Grayson. Their take on the former Boy Wonder was refreshingly bright for a bat book, in both narrative tone and visual style, and put Dick in the comics spotlight for the first time in years. The unique kinetic language and attention to detail that Bruno brought to the character helped the series top itself month after month and, ultimately, earn Eisner Awards for Best Continuing Series and Best Single Issue. Bruno would also take home the Eisner for Best Cover Artist. Although Tom and Bruno concluded their run in 2024, the impression they made shows no signs of fading. Now, The DC Art of Bruno Redondo collects the very best work from the first era of an already impressive career. With over 200 pages, this healthy 9”x12” volume highlights Redondo’s defining runs on Injustice and Nightwing, as well special selections from Justice League; Batman: Black & White; Harley Quinn: Black, White & Red; DC Universe Online; and much more! Plus, never-before-published commissions from Bruno’s extensive portfolio! Available in Clover Press’ traditional options of Hardcover, Dust Jacket, Slipcase, and Signed Slipcase editions, and featuring an introduction by Bruno’s frequent creative partner, #1 New York Times-bestselling writer Tom Taylor!  "One of the most innovative and effective storytellers of his era, Bruno Redondo’s art consistently breaks the mould, while also being among the most warm and welcoming art ever seen on the comics page. Balancing humor and heart like no other, Bruno’s characters seem to breathe with every line he adds.  A true modern giant of the genre, Bruno Redondo is a jack of no trades. He is the master of them all." - Tom Taylor
