Night Sky Folding Guide

This unique laminated folding guide to the night sky is perfect for the novice night sky observer. The four seasonal charts show all major constellations, asterisms, nebula, and other objects visible with the naked eye as they appear to an observer at different times of the year. To get you started, the Guide includes pointers to the most important things to look for. There's a detailed moon map showing important "maria" (seas) and craters, as well as charts showing phases of the moon. No telescope is needed to make use of the Folding Night Sky Guide. It's designed for naked-eye observing, much like you do when you're taking an evening stroll around the neighborhood or on a beach. The guide fits neatly in a beach bag, backpack, glove compartment, purse or back pocket. Because it's laminated, it's safe from all forms of moisture - sea spray, dew, rain, even perspiration.
