Night Mare

I love horses, so a flying horse is the best.  This shape came from a shape painted on rock by Native Americans, as well as a wonderful story by Mercer Meyer called The Magic Trick.  Pegasus is the most famous mythological flying horse. This is a horse that only flies at night, hence my favorite name for it. The Details: Each one of these whimsical pins and earrings are hand-painted by me, Robin Senour, so there are no two alike. For me, art is communication. I created this little work of art, but the conversation between artist and viewer is complete when someone owns it. The clear material I chose to paint on is durable and easy to bend to my will. I have my very own laser that gives me the freedom to create any shape that I can think of. I love color. Finding wonderful color combinations drives me from one piece to the next. I paint them until they say, “I’m done!” If you are pin challenged, you can have a complimentary stand that will clip on the pinback, just indicate in the note field. It’s a little work of art, there are lots of ways to display it.
