Night In the Forest

In Night in the Forest - Andrius Miezis conjures a surreal wilderness teeming with whimsy and unease. Beneath a cool twilight sky, strange creatures drift between dream and nightmare - a wide-eyed rabbit devouring a pair of human legs, floating birds with geometric forms, and luminous fungi glowing like tiny lanterns. The composition feels like a page from a subconscious fable - playful yet dark, humorous yet quietly sinister. Miezis uses muted blues and yellows to create an atmosphere of suspended reality, where logic dissolves into instinct and fantasy. In Night in the Forest, Miezis transforms nature into a theater of transformation. It’s a world where innocence and absurdity coexist, where every shadow seems alive, and where curiosity and danger share the same breath.
