Nielsen-Massey Pure Lemon Paste

Made with Nielsen-Massey’s Pure Lemon Extract, this paste contains oil drawn from high-quality California lemons. Its unique, bold flavor inspires creativity by adding a layer of sweet, bright, citrus flavor to various recipes. The paste’s thick consistency (similar to molasses) enables you to add more lemon flavor without the need for juice or zest. It’s excellent as a glaze on top of cakes, cookies, scones or muffins, or brushed on fish before grilling or broiling. The bright acidity also pairs beautifully with ice pops, sorbets, lemonade, tea, cocktails, parfaits and smoothies. You can also add it to yogurt, frosting, cream cheese or pastry creams for a lovely lemon flavor. Nielsen-Massey’s proprietary cold extraction process preserves the more than 400 flavor compounds in natural vanilla to create the distinctive flavor prized in professional bakeries and home kitchens alike. Hands down, this is the finest vanilla available—you’ll find it in all our baking classes. Vanilla is one of the world’s most labor-intensive flavors, demanding a human touch at each step during the 18-month growing process. Nielsen-Massey has built solid, long-term supplier relationships that provide access to the world’s highest-quality beans. Skilled farmers hand-pollinate vanilla vines daily and pick beans when they are at their peak. Beans are then hand-cured for six to eight months to cultivate complex flavors. Each bean is carefully evaluated for quality, so that each of Nielsen-Massey’s vanilla products delivers a distinctive, pure vanilla flavor that customers have enjoyed for more than 100 years.
